Loreto...
...is a beautiful puebla located between the Sea of Cortez
and Las Gigantas Mountain Range. It is believed to be the
first human settlement on the Baja Peninsula, and is home
to the oldest standing Mission in the Colonial Spanish
network, a beautiful structure which is still in use today.
Loreto was also the first capitol of all of the Californias.
Currently, Loreto is suberb destination for tourists, wanting
to experience a low key Mexican puebla that emphasizes it's
natural beauty and the environment. It is a premier site for
a variety of water sports, including deep sea fishing,
kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, and whale watching.
Farther inland, mountain biking, viewing cave paintings,
hiking, and horseback riding are also popular pastimes. A
number of quality tour companies operate in Loreto and
provide easy access to these activities.

pleasure, many of which are within easy walking distance

the world and natural objects from the area. Damiana is a place where one can
talk with your fellow traveler over a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon cerveza.
You can take a nap in a hammock, read in one of the many rocking chairs, play
with the dog and cat, watch the birds and hummingbirds in the garden, cook up a
gourmet meal from the days catch or chat with Debora and Gerardo about your
